CLIENT ACCOUNT:  Initial setup & Annual update

 To set up or update your Client Account with WESTECH, contact one of our Project Coordinators or Account Specialists.  For all new clients, we will conduct a credit review prior to establishing your customer account.  Once we have set up your Client Account, we will conduct an annual update as a part of our Accounting Quality Assurance program. 

 Due to the advancements in technology and our commitment to client service, new client accounts can be set up in less than an hour.  Annual client updates can be performed in a few minutes.  All you need to do is provide the following information:

  • full company name, including designation (i.e. Inc., LLC, etc.)

  • address of Corporate Headquarters (if multiple offices exist)

  • email address, facsimile number, telephone number and extension

  • accounting contact:  name, address, email address, facsimile number, telephone number and extension

  • complete and submit a W-9 IRS form provided by our accounting department

 General pricing & information guides

 We can provide you with our General Price Guide (lists the parameter name or test group and list price) or our Comprehensive Price Guide (that includes all parameters within the test groups and list price) depending on your needs. In addition, we can provide you with our Laboratory Reference Guide that lists sample holding times, preservatives, shipping requirements, common conversions, and special sampling requirements, in addition to other valuable information.

 DISCOUNTS & SPECIAL QUOTATIONS

 Once your account has been approved and established, you can then choose to request a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) that will enable you to receive a discount (by percentage) on all of your sample submittals.  If you desire a BPA, simply contact one of our Project Coordinators or Account Specialists.  We will prepare a quotation indicating your percent discount, our Standard Terms and Conditions, and a General Price Guide or Comprehensive Price Guide along with your assigned BPA number.  To receive your BPA discount, all you need to do is provide our BPA number on each sample submittal form (in the space designated as “WESTECH Proposal #”) and your discount will be applied on the corresponding invoice.

 Even if you have a BPA with WESTECH, you may also request special pricing on individual projects.  Again, all you need to do is contact one of our Project Coordinators or Account Specialists and provide the scope of work requested.  We will promptly issue you a job specific proposal and provide you with a proposal number.  Once again, we respectfully request that you indicate that special pricing by provide us the proposal number on each corresponding sample submittal form (in the space designated as “WESTECH Proposal #”) and your discount will be applied on the corresponding invoice.

CONSULTING & TRAINING SERVICES

Our professional labor and expense rates are available upon request. Written proposals are prepared for all consulting and training projects based on the specific scope of work requested. Please call or email one of our account specialists or the Vice President of our Consulting Services Division to discuss project details, inquire about the services we offer, or to request a project proposal.

LABORATORY ANALYSES SURCHARGE FEES

All projects performed by our Laboratory Services Division are performed in accordance with our written proposal (or BPA) and signed authorization (part of our Standard Terms and Conditions).  Any change in work scope requested by our clients will require an issuance of a revised proposal and STC signed by both parties.  If the change in work scope requires expedited services, surcharges may apply.

Our standard laboratory results turnaround (TAT) will be set at 10 working days from the time of sample receipt at WESTECH unless otherwise directed by the CLIENT on the Sample Submittal Form.  We are more than capable of providing expedited results provided that we are notified by the CLIENT prior to sample receipt for all expedited analyses and results turnaround requests that are less than or equal to 10 working days.  Listed below are the result turnaround times and corresponding surcharge percentages that will apply unless otherwise quoted by a BPA or special quotation:

  • 6-10 day TAT:       standard fee per test

  • 3-5 day TAT:         30% surcharge per test

  • 48 hour TAT:         50% surcharge per test

  • 24 hour TAT:         100% surcharge per test

  • <24 hour TAT:       by quotation only

NOTE:  The surcharge percentages listed above are applicable to only LEVEL I Data Deliverables Package (see various deliverables packages below).

LABORATORY DATA DELIVERABLE PACKAGES

Results reporting will include the following data deliverables packages:

LEVEL I Data Deliverables

Includes, but may not be limited to, the standard laboratory report with sample information, chain of custody, sample submittal form, data review signature, data approval signature, and results presentation.

LEVEL II Data Deliverables

Includes, but may not be limited to, LEVEL I Data Deliverables plus reporting of continuing calibration verification (CCV), continuing calibration blank (CCB), matrix spike (MS), and matrix spike duplicate (MSD) results.

LEVEL III Data Deliverables

Includes, but may not be limited to, LEVEL I and LEVEL II Data Deliverables plus reporting of sample preparation blank, laboratory control sample (LCS), sample preparation logs, sample run logs, and inter element correction samples (metals analyses only).

LEVEL IV Data Deliverables

Includes, but may not be limited to, LEVEL I, II, and III Data Deliverables plus reporting of method detection limit studies, surrogate recovery studies, retention times, and electronic data reporting.

LABORATORY DATA DELIVERABLE FEES

Unless otherwise arranged, WESTECH will require an additional 2-4 weeks to prepare LEVEL II, III, and IV Data Deliverables packages. Surcharge fees for data deliverables requested prior to sample receipt will be charged to the CLIENT as follows:

  • LEVEL I Deliverables: Included with all analyses
  • LEVEL II Deliverables: 10% surcharge per test
  • LEVEL III Deliverables: 20% surcharge per test
  • LEVEL IV Deliverables: 40% surcharge per test

Surcharge fees for data deliverables requested after sample analyses and laboratory results report has been completed will be charged to the CLIENT as follows:

  • LEVEL I Deliverables: 25% surcharge per test
  • LEVEL II Deliverables: 50% surcharge per test
  • LEVEL III Deliverables: 75% surcharge per test
  • LEVEL IV Deliverables: 150% surcharge per test

CONSUMABLES AND EQUIPMENT

  • Most analyses fees include sample media, containers, coolers, and custody forms.

  • The analyses fees DO NOT INCLUDE sampling equipment for air or vac samples.

  • Shipping will be accordingly charged.

  • Discounts on ALL rates and fees are available by written quotation only.
